KEF Reunites With Michael Young for Its LS60 Wireless Floorstanding Speakers
In celebration of the British audio company’s 60th-anniversary, KEF has now reunited with renowned industrial designer Michael Young for its new LS60 wireless floor standing sound system. Available in “Titanium Grey,” “Mineral White” and “Royal Blue,” KEF’s latest offering packs its relatively slim speakers with a whole host of its latest technology. The 1,400W system’s Single Apparent Source technology provides a more coherent, immersive listening experience while the 12th Generation Uni-Q and Metamaterial Absorption Technology ensure the most accurate acoustics. You can expect exceptional bass performance as well from its four 5.25-inch Uni-Core force-canceling drivers, with KEF’s Music Integrity Engine pulling everything together for a rich, full-bodied sound.
Connectivity pretty much covers everything you’ll need at home, including WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI eARC, optical, coaxial and RCA, and its wireless support applies to both the sound source as well as between the speakers themselves. Much like the rest of the brand’s products, you’ll be able to customize and personalize your listening experience via the KEF Connect app, and both Apple Airplay and Google Chromecast compatibility provides even more convenience.
For those looking for a new home sound system, KEF’s LS60 will be available in June for £6,000 GBP (approximately $7,415 USD). You can learn more over on the company’s website.
