Airbus Corporate Jets Calls in Mr Colorful To Add Emotion To New Jet Cabin

Airbus Corporate Jets has collaborated on a cabin with French contemporary artist Cyril Kongo aka Mr Colorful.

The ACJ TwoTwenty special cabin edition by Cyril Kongo turns the extra large business jet interior into a flying contemporary art gallery, with Kongo brought in to add “emotion” to a space already designed with “comfort, connectivity and functionality” in mind.

The main lounge will be partly hand-painted by the artist and brings together “carefully chosen branded textures and fabrics.”

The interior takes advantage of the TwoTwenty’s extra wide fuselage, allowing for “a spaciously crafted table greeting,” serving up to eight guests. Swiss-based Comlux are set to take delivery of the first aircraft this winter and will be responsible for finishing the first 15 aircraft in the Cyril Kongo series.

Upon entering service in early 2023, the new ACJ TwoTwenty will offer 785 sq ft of floor space and will be the only business jet to offer “six large VIP living spaces for up to 19 passengers.” The aircraft has a range of 10,500km which equates to 12 hours of flight time.
