RIHANNA CHANNELS MASQUERADE BOUDOIR ENERGY FOR SAVAGE X FENTY SHOW
Rihanna‘s annual Savage X Fenty showcase took place on November 9 and, as per usual, it did not disappoint.
From killer lewks to celebrity appearances, Vol 4. delivered and then some, but admittedly one of the most exciting parts about the show is seeing the look that Rihanna debuts herself. This year, the singer and the multi-business owner opted for a boudoir-inspired outfit that seemingly took inspiration from vintage masquerade dressing and Moulin Rouge.
Wearing a two-toned corset with a black bra and voluminous tulle jacket, Rihanna completed the look with delicately patterned tights and vivid pink floral details. Naturally, the star’s makeup was all courtesy of Fenty Beauty, pairing the brand’s signature Fenty Icon Semi-Matte Lipstick in “She A CEO” with Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in “Trophy Wife.”
Speaking about her makeup look in a statement, Global Fenty Beauty Makeup Artist, Priscilla Ono, shared that “This year’s show has a magical feeling – there’s a sense of surrealism in the performances, from the set to the dancers’ movements. We wanted that sentiment and aesthetic to transcend into the makeup, so you’ll see a lot of iridescence and ethereal color splashes on lids and lips and, of course, soft, radiant skin.”
